Resource Recovery Zone (AKA Compost and Recycling) Located on the northwestern corner of the Quad, alongside the Coffee House, the Resource Recovery Zone is where the entire “waste”-stream of the festival is sorted again in order to make sure everything that can be recycled, re-used, or composted is taken to the appropriate place. If you visit this area, you will find not only tons of Karma Patrol Volunteers having a good time sorting your resources, but you will also find more information on how you can take this Zero-Waste mentality back home with you. 2007 WorkshopsBackyard Composting: How to build a compost heap.
