DJ Stage
Electronic Dance Music has many forms and genres...House, Breaks, Techno, Drum & Bass, Dub Step, Electro, and on and on. However all these distinctions have but one common to goal: to shake what you're momma gave you! So come by our stage, drop your inhibitions, and get down to some of the best talent around.
This year the DJ Stage has expanded its influence beyond the weekend of the festival to sponsor a new weekly event called Sunday Sol. SS is a means to further develop the dance community in Davis. By providing a consistent venue where music & dance mingle our intention is to spark the feeling of hope and wonder that can come from letting go to the beats. Experience it for yourself by dropping by the UCD quad on Sunday afternoons.

STAGE BIO's
DJ's:
SEP
Ever since Sep was a child, he had an ear for music and always loved
sharing this joy with others. Now, while pursuing a PhD in molecular
physiology, he continues to do so with an ever evolving technical
ability behind the decks. He prides himself in creating a unique set
each time he takes to the stage.
His versatility allows him to play many different styles from deep,
sexy house to high-energy, hand-raising electro house, all with a
flair unique to him. With almost a decade of experience, Sep D
continues to please crowds across Northern California.
NDemik
DJ Ndemik, a veteran of the Davis
dance scene, is looking forward to his third performance at the Whole Earth
Festival. Ndemik seeks to evolve the limits of reality past boundaries of time
and space through mind-twisting body-rocking dance induction. Raised on a
healthy diet of Goa trance, Ndemik now enjoys
dishing up fatty platters of funky progressive blended with chunky chunks of
electro and finished with his signature sauce of sparkling psychedelic.
Hippies, rest assured – only the freshest cuts of organic beats and free-range
bass lines are selected for this year’s sumptuous 2008 Festival Set. BOOM!
An-Ten-Nae
Adam currently produces as 'an-ten-nae' and is also one part of 'Orgasmitron',
'Ruined' and 'D'n A'. His remixes and mashups make his sound and his sets as
unique in sound as they are in flavor, he's been known to classify past sets as
'Punk-Rock-Country-Hop' and the sound he's dropping now could loosely be classified
as 'Dubstep' and 'Glitch Hop' fused into a bass-driven twisted dancefloor crunk
that leaves little option but to get down a groove to.
An-ten-nae has used his musical vision to influence the San Francisco nightlife scene for more than a
decade and resulting in him revitalizing super-club 1015 over the past 3 years
and more recently launching a broader production company that produces some of
the most dynamic nightlife events in the San Francisco Bay Area.

G.A.M.M.A.
Born and raised in Northern California,
G.A.M.M.A. (AKA The Predator) burst onto the techno scene in 1997. Listening to
many different styles of underground techno at a young age has made
G.A.M.M.A.’s own musical style diverse, hypnotizing, and addictive. Spinning a
continuous and flawless mix of acid techno, breaks and house, has brought
G.A.M.M.A. worldwide notoriety.
Helping form the Stilldream Collective and joining Techno Truth, proves
G.A.M.M.A. is not just another DJ. These 2 companies have thrown numerous
parties/massives, as well as introduced California
ears to the unrelenting techno sounds of Chris Liberator, Aaron Liberator,
Julian Liberator, and Dustin Zahn. With a strong dedication to quality, these
companies are bringing innovative techno to everyone.

KELLY D
Kelly’s influences were molded during the electronic
explosion of the late 90’s. Looking back it’s hard to believe it really
happened…tens of thousands of people getting together every weekend in the bay
area to dance in cavernous warehouses, filled with concert sound systems, laser
shows, and all excepting smiles from people of every race and age group.
As this years DJ Stage Coordinator Kelly seeks to offer up something just as
pure and filled with as much heart as soul as those events that ushered him
into the scene. As a DJ of over 10 years Kelly knows how to work a
crowd. His style is never the same because the music he picks is a
reflection of the environment. At Sunday Sol you may find him playing
deep funky house, but for Saturday night at WEF he’ll bring a selection of the
most pumping electro, breaks, and techno to close out the night!
IAN LESPERANCE
This Chicago transplant has
house music in his blood. Ian’s skills on the decks are impeccable.
If your out in Davis and you find your head bopping to the music, look a little
deeper and you’ll probably find Ian at the controls.
DOCTOR J
Jason
keeps it funky and moving on the floor. Probably the Davis DJ with the
most gigs under his belt as founder of countless parties at local venues like
Pasta and Soga’s Jason is a staple of the Davis
electronic scene.
VJ's (Video Jockeys):
SATSI
They say men aren't multi-taskers, but Satsi explodes this
stereotype with his unique synchology—DJing and VJing simultaneously—a fusion
born from more than a decade of audiovisual experience. A true sonic
Renaissance dude, he has vitally and vibrantly rawked San Francisco's electronic music scene from
house to trance to breaks back to the current 4-on-the-floor tendencies. More
than just a creator of pretty pictures, he also produces his own music—best
described as "electro breakno—emcees, sings, and manages AMMO (Advanced
MultiMedia Operatives) his own music, film, and live event production
crew.
