The Whole Earth Festival Education Committee

The mission of the Whole Earth Festival Education Committee is to raise awareness of environmental issues, social justice, animal rights, gender equality, appropriate technology, and health, wellness, and spirituality. We strive to offer a holistic approach to assist the greater consciousness of the local and global community. We hope to bring a variety of speakers that motivate and inspire, and workshops that offer hands-on learning. We desire to create a space where people can share experiences, exchange ideas, and incorporate what they have learned from the Festival into their daily lives. We support and encourage alternative approaches within the progressive movement to make the earth a better place.

Notes to consider:

This year we are encouraging education booths to be interactive and engage the festival-goers.  Please take this into consideration as you organize your materials and think of a unique way in which you will be creative!

Please do not email applications!  Send a paper copy of your application to the address above.  We will email or telephone to confirm that we have received your application.  If you do not receive a confirmation that we have received it, contact us ASAP!

This year there is a separate application for those who wish to perform, speak, or host a workshop at Experiential Space (the interactive educational mini-stage).  This application is located under the Education tab on the website at: <wef.ucdavis.edu>.  Contact Dylan at 530-752-2569 or < This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it > if you have any questions.

We highly encourage you to bring a shade structure to cover your booth space because it (normally) stays HOT and SUNNY during the three days of the festival.  In general, WEF is unable to provide tents, tables, chairs, or other logistical needs. If you are unable to provide your own please let us know by: April 20.

Sales at Education Booths are solely for the purpose of benefiting Non- Profit groups.

We reserve the right to remove groups violating these guidelines.
